What’s the Difference Between Classic Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage? 💆♀️
Ever wondered which type of massage suits you best? Here's a quick guide to help you decide:
🌿 Classic Swedish Massage
This is the go-to for relaxation. It’s done with long, flowing strokes that glide over the body, helping to reduce stress and improve circulation. Perfect for when you want to unwind! However, it’s not ideal for working out tight muscle knots or deep tension.
💪 Deep Tissue Massage
A session with me is like a spa version of a sports massage! Deep tissue uses firm pressure, slow movements, and more grip to target the deeper layers of muscle and fascia. It’s designed to release chronic tension, break up knots, and promote recovery. While relaxing, it’s also therapeutic and more intense.
👉 It’s important not to confuse Deep Classic Swedish Massage with Deep Tissue Massage. While Swedish massage can be performed with firmer pressure, it doesn’t target deeper muscle layers the way a proper Deep Tissue Massage does.
Both have their place depending on what your body needs. Whether you're looking for pure relaxation or targeted muscle work, there’s a massage for you!
