Choosing the Duration of Massage Treatment

Not sure how long your massage session should be? Here are some tips to help you decide:
1️⃣ The Severity of Your Pain or Issue
💢 If you’ve been dealing with discomfort for a long time or have multiple problem areas, a longer session may be more effective or even series of sessions. Chronic issues often take time to address properly.
2️⃣ Your Body Type
👩🦰 Smaller or slimmer clients: Problem areas can often be addressed efficiently in a 75-minute session.
👨🦳 Larger or more muscular clients: It may take longer to work deeper into tissues or reach multiple areas, so a 90-minute or even 120-minute session might be better.
3️⃣ Your Goals
✨ Relaxation: A 60-minute massage might be perfect.
🎯 Pain relief or deep work:
Consider longer sessions for focused results or a full-body reset. Book 45min for focus on one body part, for group area for example:
shoulder, neck and head
back and shoulder
arms and hands
legs and thighs etc.
